Moretz - medium sized green with a beautiful blush when exposed to the sun. Slightly tart and is the best for early season drying. Makes sauces butters and even pies. DOB 1817 New Jersey. Definitely a heritage variety. DW - Pretty name. Not so much on the taste. Mealy, soft, earthy, carrots. Made a face.
CW - (sniffing it) It's almost putting me somewhere, not quite my grandmas house. Mmmmm. (Biting) ugh, like mush. Flavors fine.
